The Pentagon, the Secret Service and the FAA continue to deny the existence of a "doomsday" E-4B officially identified as the mystery plane flying over d.c. in the morning of 9/11; the latest report by CNN is likely to trigger a new conspiracy theory on the role of the officially not existing "doomsday" plane in the hours America was under attack.
CNN is not a breaking the story; Mark H Gaffney published a detailed report about the 9/11 plane awhile back. ABC, NBC and FOX News picked up the story on 9/11 while reporting live on the Twin Towers attack. CNN actually filmed the mysterious plane as it flew over the Capitol, but, unfortunately, it was too far away to identify.
The sighting of a large white plane above the White House and Capitol on September 11, 2001 was very strange, says Gaffney in his report, because the airspace over Washington is probably the most restricted on the planet.
There has never been an official explanation for this incident, which has provided abundant fuel for 9/11 conspiracy theories.
CNN reports to have learned from two government sources that the mystery plane was indeed a military aircraft and has determined that the blurry image on video appears to match photos of the Air Force's E-4B also known as "doomsday" plane.
The E-4B is a state of the art flying command post built and equipped for one reason -- to keep the government running no matter what, even in the event of a nuclear war. Oddly enough authorities continue to deny the existence of that aircraft, despite compelling evidence.
The new report is likely to spark new debates and discussions about the government's omissions and badly kept secrets on certain events occurred on 9/11.
