Quite pleased with last nights effort on the darts so gonna have another crack.
I wanted to get this one up early as ive got a feeling the bookies will either shorten the price of move the handicap.
Day 4 Match 1
Scholten Vs Waites
Scholten has played sensational darts in his opening 2 match at the G.S.O.D winning both matches and averaging 98+ in the first and a staggering 110+ in the second when he simply blew away young Van Gerwen. Their is always a doubt over Scholten doubling but has hit 3 100+ check-outs already in this tournament. He will be keen to keep up this good form and although winning Group H will probably mean he faces a tricky match against Gary Anderson on this form he shouldn't fear playing anyone.
Scott Waites has been in mixed form and only has pride left to play for, against Merv King he led 3-1 before losing 4 straight legs without getting a double shot in any of them, this must have dented his morale and if Scholten starts hitting the treble it could be much the same story.
Scholten @1.83 -1.5 in the handicap looks a cracking bet and as i said above can see this line changing before too much longer.
