Of all the games this week in the Super 14 this is the one that looks the best to bet on,the Bulls are in real trouble here and if they can't get within 12 of the Reds and Cheifs it's hard to see them troubling the Blues at all really.
The Blues get evans back this week and that should send shivers up the spines of the Bulls as he is the major threat for any side facing the Blues,Williams drops to the bench and Kaino comes back into the startig side for the Blues,I thought the Blues played well last weekend particualy Jhon Afoa who was almost unstoppable last week,the Blues normal support running trys have dryed up a bit in recent weeks but they wil get some chances to correct that today against a Bulls side who are just not playing well.
The Bulls are rushing Habana and Spiers back into their line up to stop the rot but really they have more prpblems than those two players can fix,they are still kicking the ball away which is just madness against the NZ sides and their great forward pack are not controlling much of anything out on the field,their backline is getting little to no ball at all from Houghgard and that is more cause for concern as weith the new rules you cannot keep kicking the ball away as it just will not work,they really appear to be in a world of trouble right now and I can't see it ending this weekend againt the Blus with as much running talent they have.
The Bulls have won 2 of the last 3 played between these two sides both their wins came in the republic and I fear for them greatly in this match up,the Blues are not to be messed with in the forwards or backs,the Stormers last week showed what it takes to get close to them but the Bulls don't play that style and probaly won't at all this season,I really can't see the Bulls getting within 15 of this Blues side with Evans back in and for those reasons i'm on the Blues to monster the Bulls this week and send them reeling to another big loss...Take the Blues - 13.5...Good Luck.
