Since betting on snooker sometimes can't be very profitable, because you never know how does the player feel that day :D. It seems kinda funny but its true. Let's take for example today O'Sullivan. He was a big favorite today, and he was expected to win easily since Fu had problems in the wild card round. But guess what, he didn't feel like playing for real, instead of safeties the played impossible shots, and of course lost. Because of that I would like to try something tomorrow. I'll make some kind of a "system" ticket. Since 5:3 is the most common result in best of nine frames, I'll bet on each my favorite to win 5:3. The odds are very nice, all > 5.00 so if I win one of five I will get my stake back.

And last but not the least the match between Shaun Murphy and Ding Junhui.

Shaun Murphy is another young and prosperous player. He also just like Selby joined the pro's at the age of 16, since then he has been improving steadily. He is a good player but sometimes I just don't have faith in him. He is not one of those who will give their best, his play is let's say a bit over mediocre. But still with his constant solid play he can beat great players, so Junhui won't have an easy task tomorrow.

What to say about Ding... I watched his match few days ago, and I must say that I was a bit disappointed, although it was one of the most exciting matches I've watched, I expected more from Ding against let's say veteran Joe Perry. In my opinion Ding has been improving his play faster than Murphy, and he is able to play some great frames. He already won China Open 2005, and I'm sure he is going for it once more.

Also the advantage is on Junhui's side since the tour is in China and some players just seem to be anxious about WC and don't feel like playing this tour. Marco Fu showed more than O'Sullivan, and I expect the same to happen here in this match. Again it won't be an match for Ding, probably draw at interval but still, considering what I've seen/read/heard Junhui should win this one.
