http://www.betshoot.com/avatars/noavatar.jpg The all important match between the Australians and All Blacks to see who will win the Tri Nations takes place in Brisbane tonight a place where between theser two sides in the last 14 tests the winning margin for either side is 7 points or less,and I expect no different this time around either.
Forget what happened the the Wallbies in their last match which was of course the massive 53-8 loss to the Boks,they are rested and ready for Saturday Night and they will perform far better than in their last game,the loss of Barnes was far greater than I expected in that last game for the Aussies and it was very notacible that withoutnhim they have no second tactical kicking option and hence the move of Mortlock in this ngame and Cross's inclusion which should free them up in that area.Overall the Aussies have a good side that should be able to win this if they play to their potential but can they is the question,I think they can lift to another level for this game but whether that level will be good enough is another story altogether as the All Blacks sure have bounced back after the opening games of thie Tri Nations tournament.
The All Blacks after a pretty ordanary opening couple of games and 2 losses have come right in a big way and have won their last two by landslides against both the Aussies and Sprigboks,in thos games the All Blacks have scored 58 points while allowing only 10,their scamble defence has been perfact and it will need to be tonight also,now the All Blacks have changed their fortunes by playig hard though the forwards and allow their backs to get the ball when the opposing sides have been sucked into the rucks,that is what they will attempt to do again tonignt and it will most likely work yet again,the fact is is that our Forwards have really come into their own in recent times and they have the look of a side that can and will get the job done,of course it also helps that Dan Carter is playing somebrilliant footy nright now also.
Recent resuts and the All Blacks have won 7 of the last 9 between the two sides and won their last match in Brisbane in 2006 9-13.
I have been critical on the All Blacks this Tri Natios but as usual they have bounced back and are now looking very good and confidence wise they are on a high,I did rate Aussie as a big chance to win this Tournament as many of you would know but from what the All Blacks have started dishing up it is hard to fault them,they have been playing direct and they have been playing great and all in all the Aussies will have to play to the best of their ability and hope the AB's have a bad night,I don't think that will happenand the AB's should get up by about 5....Good Luck.
