Long story short, my lease is up at the end of July. I have a ton of friends here but no girlfriend or family keeping me in Boise. Was thinking it would be kinda cool to just get up and move to a new place and see where it leads. I work online so nothing is really keeping me here.

I love Boise and my friends and all but I've been here 5 years now and a little change wouldn't hurt.

Anyone ever do anything similar?

I have been all throughout Nevada,Utah,Idaho and Wyoming and they are looked upon as the best libertarian states.Rand Mc Nally does a places rated almanac and Elko Nevada not far from Idaho used to come in 1st place.Boise has a nice climate too.Take alook around the net at places like Wendover where they just built a few big casinos to cater to the Salt Lake City crowd.It's where the Bonneville Salt Flats is and they do alot of tv and movie filming there.The world's fastest Indian was filmed quite a bit there.I just saw a newspaper from there looking for taxi cab drivers from the airport to the casino for $10 an hour plus tips.Seems like a real low key job.The pace,lifestle and cost of living there is slow and low.

If you really want to get away from it all,move to Ely,Nevada.It's probably the most likely city in the world to see a UFO.hehe!

I have been all throughout the whole Idaho-northern Nevada area and love it.It's very libertarian!Not liberal mind you but an offshoot of what conservatism and freedom loving constitution abiding was all about back over 100 years ago in the good old days.I hope the California nuts and berry crowd don't move in and start bossing everyone around like the fascist soup Nazi.hehe!

Elko ,Nevada was always ranked the best small town in the country.Wendover looks interesting.The salt flats are there and I just saw The World's fastest Indian filmed there and liked the movie.They have some nice casinos there that cater to the Salt Lake City crowd.I saw in the newspaper where they wanted cab drivers for $10 an hour plus tips.Nice climate,low cost of living and low crime rate.
